#STANDWITHSTACY

Stacy Pearce is a teacher at Berrendos who is speaking out against mandates.  She spoke at the Tehama County walkout rally Monday explaining that she is wearing a yellow star to school because those without the shot are being singled out and she is making the statement that it is unfair and unconstitutional.

She shared a video explaining this – and is being harshly criticized for it.  One person shared her address, phone and where she works.

The school and local news are receiving emails and calls of complaints against Stacy – mainly from out of state numbers.  I support her 100%.

She said nothing wrong. She is not saying we have it worse than the Jews or that their experience was minor. The holocaust was horrible. It started by singling them out. That’s her point. Those who have not gotten the shot are being singled out.

If you agree with Stacy’s message, please sign our support petition below. Please also contact the school: https://bms.antelopeschools.org/staff-directory/

  1. I added my name. I hope it is submitted.

—————————————–From: “Tehama Citizens for Freedom” To: thechildrensartist@charter.net Cc: Sent: Wednesday October 20 2021 8:49:32AM Subject: [New post] stacy

Shawn posted: ” Stacy Pearce is a teacher at Berrendos who is speaking out against mandates. She spoke at our rally Monday explaining that she is wearing a yellow star to school because those without the shot are being singled out and she is making the statement that”

  2. The Yellow Star of David vs. Vax Pass:

Under the Nazi regime Jewish people were forced to wear identifiers such as Star of David armbands or badges. The badges were often sewn onto a person’s clothing either on the arm, chest, back, or all of those places. The intention was to isolate, harass, and humiliate Jewish people, and further embedded Nazi ideology that Jewish people were different from everyone else by marking them out from the rest of the population.
Much the same way a ‘vax pass’ would be implemented now. (An identifier, to mark a population, as different and segregated) If that isn’t enough of a comparison, the CDC’s ‘Green Zone’ internment camps, should give you pause to consider, there may actually be a reason to compare the two. The yellow star was required long before Jewish people were forced into camps, tortured & murdered.
Comparing being marked with a yellow star and/or anyother symbol, setting a whole population apart from eachother is a logical comparison.

    1. Good for Stacy Pearce and those supporting her. We have to stick together in this upside down world they are forcing on us.

  3. Unfortunately, I think they’re going to make an example out of her for all the other teachers- scare them into submission. It’s too bad that freedom of speech is no longer free (without consequence).

    1. Unfortunately, this page doesn’t even support freedom of speech…. Stacey is a grown adult, 26 years as an educator and she seems to think appropriating pain for a false comparison won’t garner this reaction? I mean it’s a disgusting comparison. I don’t think she should be fired, but she should understand social consequences are a thing. Freedom of Speech has NEVER meant freedom from consequences. I am open to be proven other wise, but alas this comment will be deleted because nobody on here is willing to have a conversation.

      1. I’m most willing to have a conversation- that’s what our group is all about but people with differing opinions never seem to actually want to talk – they generally insult, belittle, name calling and threaten. If we can have a respectful conversation, I’m all in.

You’re right, freedom of speech can come with consequences. The sad part about this is that only seems to have consequences for people who agree with Stacy.

So – since your willing to talk, please feel encouraged to explain how this is such a false comparison. Here’s how we see it. The holocaust did not start with gas chambers, that’s where it ended, that’s when other people finally started stepping in. It started with division – “those people”, “not like us”, “we don’t like them”. It started with being treated separately. You may not feel like that’s what is happening – but there are an awful lot of individuals who feel like they are being treated differently. And in many cases, it is an extreme response by angry people. No discussion. No listening to try to understand. That’s our biggest problem of all. People want to be angry with us – no one wants to hear why we have concerns.

Is the yellow star an extreme message? Yes. Is it how many of us feel? Yes. If it opens the door to discussion, that’s a good thing.

But again – she never said we have it as bad as the Jews did in the end. She made the comparison to being treated differently. If just one person feels that way, shouldn’t we listen to them? If millions feel that way, shouldn’t we listen?

It seems to me the response to those questions from pro-mandate people is “no, we shouldn’t listen to them, we should punish them, fire them, remove them from society, not allow them into restaurants, make them do things the pure don’t have to”.

Is that not exactly how the holocaust started?

  4. She is not wrong. We are constantly trying to defeat bullying and this is an example at its finest. If Berrendos supports discriminating against those who believe in freedom of choice, we’ll your no better than Hitler himself. It’s sick and gut wrenching. Your blinded by fear and it has made you have tunnel vision. I sure as hell don’t want close minded people as such around my kids. Your irrational and mentally unstable if you think this discrimination is ok.

    1. A bunch of kids wore yellow stars yesterday. One of the teachers refused to have them in his class and kicked them all out. If that’s not making the point – lol – wasn’t his intention, but it was a good lesson for those kids.

      1. That was his PERSONAL OPINION/VIEW that he took out on those students. Shame on him for that. I bet he was reprimanded for violating those children’s rights to a free education. I absolutely agree with you. Stacy did not mention her school or bring her students into her speech at all. In fact her principal did just that, so of course Mr. Durfee didn’t get in trouble. A parent whose kid was kicked outta his classroom COULD bring a lawsuit against him AND the school. He’s/their very lucky.

      2. Durfee never gets in trouble for his bad behavior. And he’s had lots of it. He was horrible to me and my daughter when she was in school there. It’s disheartening that someone like that can continually treat people so poorly but someone like Stacy stands up for something good and is blasted for it.

    2. I think the holocaust might have been a bit more than “bullying”…. Also, she still has the same freedom to chose as everyone else. When you are in this position you have agree to what goes along with the job.

      1. Thank you for not deleting these posts, unlike my first one. But no, that’s literally not how the holocaust started. Please get informed. BTW she gets the same opportunities and treatment as all of her colleagues. She quite literally has the freedom of choice, yet claims that is hat this is about. How exactly has she been singled out or discriminated against? Please explain. Also, I’m anti-mandate. I believe people can do what’s right without being forced.

      2. It’s not strictly her being singled out. It’s anyone in our community who has not gotten the shot. Teachers and school admin are being told they will be reported to credentialing if they don’t get the shot. They are treated differently – talked down to, superintendents are making statements to intimidate and belittle them. If they’re seen getting tested (which indicates they are not vaxxed), the comments are harsh.

One individual considered to be a healthcare worker who doesn’t ever work with patients was approved for religious exemption and then told they would make that person an example – they are to work in their office, door closed, no contact with other staff or clients and they must wear an N-95 mask the entire time.

There are hundreds of these stories – in multiple job sectors. Firemen, officers, state workers – their supervisors are getting heat from the state and local public health and they are using scare tactics to try to force people to get the shot.

The vaxxed can get and give covid and per our local health dept and ICU doctors and nurses, they make up 50% of the hospitalized. So none of this is about the health of the community.

it is intimidation and humiliation. Is that not how the holocaust began? Please feel encouraged to share your thoughts on why we are wrong about this. I am definitely open to this dialogue. And if I’m wrong – I will own that.

But right now – the treatment of the “unvaxxed” is what Stacy is referring to.

There is no freedom of choice. Many who haven’t gotten the shot and were not approved for religious or medical exemption have been placed on unpaid disciplinary leave. Two women submitted the exact same language for their religious exemption (name was the only difference) – one was approved, the other was fired.

I personally was nearly assaulted last year for not wearing a mask – even though I have two legitimate medical conditions that exempt me from doing so – I will literally pass out. But I have been treated horribly by people because they don’t understand – and they don’t care. They literally think they will die if I don’t wear a mask.

These types of scare tactics are exactly how division was created. Get one group of people to fear and hate another. That is most definitely what is happening now. Maybe it doesn’t happen in areas where the majority have gotten the shot – but in this community – it is happening more harshly than most realize.

Are you aware of these things happening? Do you think any of this is ok? Do you draw any correlations to the initial separation of the jews?

It’s not about religious persecution, but it is most definitely a singling out of a group of people.

      3. Again, no that is not even remotely how the holocaust began. There is no correlation to how Jewish people are treated. Do literally any amount of research. Jewish people had ZERO choice but to wear the star. Pearce and others choices, she’s just mad about the one she chose. She’s no different from people who enter private property and demand to be served. This is a FREE country. She is free to start a chartered school, and fund her own methods of teaching. Stop taking govt. money and support if you disagree. Start voting locally. If she thought her sentiment had legs to stand on she wouldn’t need to make a false comparison. No ones arguing her opinions on a vaccine. She was wrong about using the star. Period. Move on, and fight for what you believe in, not over semantics. And you’re right, she was not singled out, thank you for at least agreeing on that.

Also, IN my job I work with and around vaccinated and vaccinated, no body cares as long as we all fallow safe health procedures and hygiene.

BTW I’d update StandWithStacy, because that’s a much larger group who supports Stacey Abrams…..

      4. I’m not sure you actually read my last reply. In YOUR job, nobody cares as long as you follow safe health procedures. In her job, and in many others in this community, people do care very much. Those who support the mandate are treating people terribly bad. It’s not about choice – the choice is get the shot or be deemed an outcast, be belittled, be punished, be fired. None of that is a choice. And it isn’t just her school or her profession. It is happening all over our county.

We likely aren’t going to agree.

Thanks for the heads up on the standwithStacy group.

  5. Why would you think they’re lies? I personally know people who have been hospitalized and life altered from the shot. Kids “cases” are mostly no symptoms. And that’s less than the flu. Public health comes first but that has to include everyone’s concerns, not just panic driven over a flu that has a 99.997% survival rate for most people.
