Military Flights 11-4

Boeing RC-135 is a reconnaissance aircraft designed to support theater and national level intelligence consumers with near real-time on-scene collection, analysis and dissemination capabilities.

Boeing P-8 Poseidon operates in the anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and shipping interdiction roles. It is armed with torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and other weapons, can drop and monitor sonobuoys, and can operate in conjunction with other assets, including the Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton maritime surveillance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed, long-endurance, ground-attack variant of the C-130 Hercules transport, fixed-wing aircraft. It carries a wide array of ground attack weapons that are integrated with sophisticated sensors, navigation, and fire-control systems. Unlike other modern military fixed-wing aircraft, the AC-130 relies on visual targeting.

Boeing E-3 Sentry is an American airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft developed by Boeing. E-3s are commonly known as AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System). It provides all-weather surveillance, command, control, and communications.

Stratorankers and extenders are refuelers – which generally fly to refuel fighters. There were quite a few T-8 Talons, which are trainers – so some of these and one or two of the E3s may have been part of training missions. But this seems excessive.
