SOFIA – NASA 747SP-21 11/17

Tonight is the longest partial eclipse in hundreds of years and a blood moon.

As I was scrolling across the Flightradar, I found a plane called nasa747 – aka SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy) which I’m assuming is getting some amazing pics of the eclipse.
